DataSnipper Launches Alwin for Audit and Finance Automation
DataSnipper announced Alwin in a press release, an agentic platform that runs complete, multi step procedures for audit and finance teams. It collects and processes hundreds of documents from data sources and systems of record.
Alwin covers evidence collection, verification, reporting, and workpaper preparation. Its Snips feature links conclusions to source data, while logs record each step and changes made by agents or people. The platform also includes an agent library, granular permissions, and configurable review workflows.
DataSnipper says a cash testing workflow at CROP Accountants & Advisers was about 80% faster, reducing hours of manual work to minutes of agent processing followed by human review. Rehmann tested Alwin for revenue transactions and inventory costs, including preparing work, flagging items for review, and generating potential client questions.
