DCAI Becomes First in Denmark to Receive NVIDIA DGX B300 Systems
Announced in a press release, the Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) will be the first in Denmark and among the first in Europe to receive NVIDIA DGX B300 systems. The new hardware will expand the capabilities of DCAI’s Gefion supercomputer, improving performance for both AI training and inference workloads.
The DGX B300 architecture offers higher GPU performance, increased memory bandwidth, and improved energy efficiency. It is designed to support advanced applications such as generative AI, large language models, and scientific computing. DCAI stated that the upgrade will enable its customers to train and deploy AI models faster and at greater scale.
Gefion currently operates NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, which have supported the training of complex AI models. The addition of DGX B300 systems will enhance inference capabilities, allowing for lower latency and higher throughput. DCAI will make the new infrastructure available to research and commercial clients across sectors including healthcare, finance, quantum research, and climate studies.
According to NVIDIA, its collaboration with DCAI aims to strengthen Europe’s AI innovation ecosystem by providing researchers and enterprises access to advanced computing platforms.
