Decision Logic Opens Restaurant Data to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini
Decision Logic announced in a press release Open Semantic Access, which lets restaurant operators use company operating data with AI tools including ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. The capability provides read only access to data, exports and definitions that help AI tools interpret metrics such as gross and net sales, cases and individual items.
Operators can use the service to analyze sales, labor, inventory and food costs without requesting custom reports or combining exports from individual restaurants. Supported uses include comparing ideal and actual menu item performance, reviewing guest traffic and creating menu margin analyses.
Open Semantic Access is available now at no additional charge or fee per location. Customers can use their own AI tools, methods and credentials rather than a single AI service. Decision Logic estimates that the capability makes the path from question to answer three to four times faster in applicable use cases.
