Deepdub and Spikes Partner on Localized Short Videos

Oct 8, 2026
Deepdub and Spikes are combining video adaptation and AI dubbing to convert film and television catalogs into localized short videos in more than 130 languages and dialects.

Deepdub and Spikes announced in a press release a joint service that converts film and television catalogs into localized short videos. The service produces microdrama series, condensed cuts, teasers, highlights and marketing materials.

Spikes uses its Series Engine to identify characters, plot arcs, hooks and cliffhangers before adapting titles into new formats. Deepdub then uses its eTTS technology to dub each clip into more than 130 languages and dialects while keeping character voices consistent across clips, episodes and languages.

The service is designed for studios, distributors, broadcasters, channel operators and rights holders. The resulting videos can be distributed through social platforms, advertising supported streaming channels and other short video services.
