DEEPX and Sixfab Introduce AI HAT for Raspberry Pi 5
DEEPX and Sixfab have introduced the DEEPX AI HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5, a new edge AI acceleration board that integrates DEEPX's ultra low power neural processing unit technology. The collaboration was announced in a press release.
The DEEPX AI HAT+ enables local AI inference on the Raspberry Pi 5 without relying on cloud services. It is designed to support real time processing for robotics, smart agriculture, and factory automation by balancing computational performance and energy efficiency.
DEEPX is also releasing a developer package that includes software development kits optimized for model compilation and deployment on the edge. The AI HAT+ is expected to be distributed globally through authorized channels, with plans for continued technical cooperation between DEEPX and Raspberry Pi to expand its use as an enterprise AI edge platform.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
