Delta and NVIDIA Collaborate on Level 4 Autonomous Driving

Delta Electronics and NVIDIA announced a collaboration in a press release to develop Level 4 autonomous driving systems. Delta will combine its automotive energy management, electric vehicle powertrain, in vehicle computing and system integration capabilities with NVIDIA Hyperion and engineering support from NVIDIA.

NVIDIA Hyperion is a reference sensor and computing platform for Level 4 autonomous vehicles and robotaxis. It combines two NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor systems with the NVIDIA Halos safety system.

The companies plan to work with automakers and other partners on autonomous driving systems that use AI. Delta will provide automotive integration experience, while NVIDIA will supply its computing and safety platforms.
