Deutsche Bank Deploys AI for Wealth Client Checks in Asia

Deutsche Bank has deployed an agentic AI tool for client wealth checks in Singapore and Hong Kong, with a 30% increase in emerging markets onboarding volumes expected in 2026.

Deutsche Bank Private Bank has deployed an agentic AI Source of Wealth tool at its Singapore and Hong Kong booking centers, according to Finextra. Advisers in Dubai can also use it for accounts booked in Singapore.

The tool supports Know Your Customer checks by automating research, documentation and data preparation. It uses existing client cases and approved external sources to identify gaps or inconsistencies and prepare assessments for staff review. Employees retain final review and accountability.

Deutsche Bank plans to expand the tool across its global wealth management centers. It expects client onboarding volumes in its emerging markets region to rise 30% in 2026 compared with 2025.
