DoorDash Launches AI Food Ordering Agent for Apple Messages
DoorDash is launching an AI agent that lets users order food through Apple Messages, according to TechCrunch. The company has opened a waitlist for users in the United States.
Users can send requests such as “order my usual,” ask for a specific dish, or request recommendations from nearby restaurants. The agent searches local options, suggests a cart, and can send photos of recommended food.
For group orders, the agent can account for different dietary preferences and quantities within a single order.
