Doubleword has launched its Self-Hosted Inference Platform on the Snowflake Marketplace, as announced in a press release. This platform allows enterprises to deploy open source or custom AI models directly within their Snowflake environment, utilizing scalable APIs for application development.

The platform, available as a Snowflake Native App, offers a user-friendly interface for configuring infrastructure requirements such as warehouse cluster sizes and compute pools. This enables seamless deployment of AI models within Snowpark Container Services, facilitating the activation of scalable AI APIs for downstream business applications.

Doubleword's collaboration with Snowflake allows joint customers to access over 20,000 open source models, enhancing their Gen AI workloads by deploying model capabilities directly where their data resides. This integration aims to streamline setup and deployment processes, reducing data silos and accelerating time to value for enterprises.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
