Efficient Computer Raises $97 Million to Scale Its Processors
Efficient Computer raised more than $97 million in Series B financing at a $650 million valuation, the company said in a press release. The round was led by TQ Ventures and brought Efficient Computer's total funding to $173 million.
The company will use the funding to increase shipments of its Electron E1 processor and scale its Fabric architecture for data center workloads. Efficient Computer says the architecture can reduce energy use by 10 to 100 times for general computing workloads, including AI, while supporting C, C++ and other common software tools.
The Electron E1 is currently shipping for uses including robotics, infrastructure monitoring, space and defense systems, and wearable devices. Efficient Computer expects production to continue increasing into 2027.
