Ellucian has won the Platinum award in the AI for Education category at the 2026 Pinnacle Artificial Intelligence Awards, announced in a press release. The recognition highlights Ellucian’s AI capabilities integrated across its platform to help higher education institutions streamline operations and support students.

The company’s AI tools assist in automating administrative tasks, improving decision-making, and enhancing engagement for both students and staff. Ellucian’s portfolio includes assistants for forms, transcripts, writing, and document workflows, as well as embedded AI features for advising, planning, credit transfer, and predictive retention.

According to Ellucian’s annual survey, 66% of higher education institutions are now using AI, up from 49% the previous year, with most expecting further increases in adoption over the next two years.
