ENGIE and Prometheus Hyperscale to Develop AI-Ready Data Centers in Texas
ENGIE North America has announced a collaboration with Prometheus Hyperscale to co-develop next-generation AI-ready data centers in Texas, announced in a press release. The partnership will see the deployment of high-efficiency, liquid-cooled data center infrastructure alongside ENGIE's renewable and battery storage assets along the Texas I-35 corridor.
The first sites, equipped with high-performance compute capacity, are expected to become operational in 2026, with additional locations planned from 2027 onward. This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for reliable and sustainable compute capacity, particularly for AI and other high-performance workloads.
Prometheus will work with Conduit for near-term power generation solutions, ensuring that the data centers can quickly meet market needs. The alliance also allows tenants to offset carbon emissions through established market-based mechanisms, aligning with both companies' commitment to sustainability.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
