Enovis Makes Binding Offer to Acquire eCential Robotics

Enovis has entered a binding offer to acquire eCential Robotics, with the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 pending regulatory approvals.

Enovis has entered a binding offer to acquire eCential Robotics, the companies announced in a press release. The parties expect to sign a definitive purchase agreement after the information and consultation process with eCential Robotics' works council under French law.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals. eCential Robotics is based in Grenoble, France, and develops surgical robotics and computer assisted surgery technology.

Its Op.n platform combines surgical navigation and active robotics in one architecture. The platform has FDA 510(k) clearance for spine surgery in the United States.

Enovis said the acquisition would add robotic automation capabilities to its ASTRA enabling technology ecosystem. The company also said the eCential Robotics platform would complement its ARVIS Augmented Reality System.
