Epson Equips DATALAND Gallery With 84 4K Projectors

Sep 30, 2026
DATALAND uses 84 Epson 4K laser projectors to create a continuous visual canvas across the walls, floor, ceiling and mirrored columns of its largest gallery.

Epson said in a press release that DATALAND uses 84 of its 4K laser projectors in the museum's largest gallery. The Los Angeles museum opened on June 20, 2026, with five galleries across 25,000 square feet of exhibition space.

The Data Pavilion uses EB-PQ2220B projectors to display imagery across its walls, floor, ceiling and mirrored columns. The installation produces nearly 700 million pixels and more than 1.5 million lumens, while camera assisted software aligns and blends the projectors into one continuous canvas.

DATALAND's opening exhibition, Machine Dreams: Rainforest, uses Refik Anadol Studio's Large Nature Model to interpret live environmental data from 16 rainforest locations. Visitors wear biosensing wristwatches and scent emitters as the system changes visual, sound and sensory elements across the galleries.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
