Exus Renewables Introduces Anomaly+ for Predictive Maintenance in Renewable Energy Assets
Exus Renewables has launched Anomaly+, a predictive maintenance tool for its ExusIQ+ optimization suite, announced in a press release. The platform uses machine learning to analyze operational data from renewable energy assets, identifying anomalies that indicate potential equipment failures or configuration issues before they cause downtime.
Anomaly+ provides an average benefit of about $1,000 per megawatt per year by preventing performance losses and enabling earlier issue resolution. It monitors both solar and wind facilities, detecting performance deviations at the component level such as combiner boxes in solar arrays or turbine sensors in wind farms.
In one example, the platform identified abnormal vibration in a turbine before conventional alerts were triggered, leading to early correction and avoiding an estimated 3 percent annual energy loss. Another case involved detecting thermal irregularities in a turbine's pitch system, allowing maintenance that prevented tens of thousands of dollars in downtime costs.
The system can be applied across the asset lifecycle, from due diligence through operations, allowing faster establishment of performance baselines and targeted maintenance actions. Exus plans to expand the ExusIQ+ suite with additional tools later in 2026.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
