F-Secure and AMD Silo AI Test TrustPath for AI Agent Security
F-Secure and AMD subsidiary Silo AI demonstrated an approach for securing consumer activity involving AI agents, F-Secure said in an announcement. The system combines F-Secure Trust technology with Silo AI model routing to decide whether each piece of data should be processed on a device or in the cloud.
Routing decisions consider data sensitivity, cost, model capability and performance. The system also assesses trust at each step of an online task, including when an AI agent handles login or payment activity, rather than assigning trust to an entire domain.
The planned F-Secure TrustPath product is designed to protect consumer activity from risks such as manipulated reviews, hidden instructions and unsafe decision paths. Its capabilities are expected to enter beta testing in the fourth quarter of 2026, with production availability planned for 2027.
