Flex to Acquire EPC Power for $4.4 Billion

Flex has agreed to acquire EPC Power for $4.4 billion, adding power conversion technology for AI data centers and grid applications.

Flex announced in a press release that it has agreed to acquire EPC Power Corp. for $4.4 billion, subject to customary adjustments. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

EPC Power supplies power conversion systems for data centers and grid applications, including rectifiers, direct current conversion, software, controls, and planned solid state transformers. Its technology supports 800V data center power architectures, grid stabilization, backup power, and AI infrastructure. The company has deployed more than 15 GW across 62 countries and expects its annual United States manufacturing capacity to exceed 30 GW in 2027.

EPC Power is expected to join Flex's Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment, which Flex plans to separate as an independent publicly traded company in the first quarter of 2027. EPC Power expects about $800 million in 2026 revenue and approximately 40% organic revenue growth in 2027. Flex plans to fund the acquisition with debt and equity.
