G42 Launches AI Subsidiary in Europe and UK
G42 has announced the launch of G42 Europe & UK, a new subsidiary headquartered in London, aimed at delivering AI solutions to the private sector and supporting infrastructure development across the UK and continental Europe. Announced in a press release, the entity will be co-chaired by Omar Mir and Marty Edelman, both seasoned leaders in the technology sector.
G42 Europe & UK will leverage G42's extensive network of supercomputing nodes and data centers to provide scalable AI services, ranging from strategic advisory and model development to infrastructure deployment and managed services. The focus will be on sectors such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and energy.
The establishment of this new entity follows G42's growing momentum in Europe, marked by recent announcements of data centers and compute clusters in France and Italy. The company aims to collaborate with national and regional bodies to advance data-sovereignty initiatives and support the rollout of next-generation AI infrastructure.
