Gemini Health Partners launched an AI advisory practice for specialty healthcare revenue cycle management, the company announced in a press release. The service supports private clinics, hospitals and health systems that want assessment and strategic guidance without outsourcing their billing departments.

The practice reviews data quality, existing systems and workflow constraints before recommending AI and automation projects. Areas covered include prior authorization, oncology drug reimbursement, medical necessity checks for MRI and PET imaging, denial management, technology architecture, vendor evaluation and implementation planning.

Gemini uses adjudicated claims and prior authorization data from revenue cycles it operates. The data covers proton therapy, radiation therapy, radiopharmaceutical therapy, medical oncology, radiology, urology and orthopedics. Projects can be measured through denial rates, authorization turnaround times and collection costs.
