Gen Digital launches AI Data Checker beta

AI Data Checker lets users enter an email address or username to review connected AI services and their data practices.

Gen Digital announced in a press release the beta launch of AI Data Checker, a tool that shows how AI apps and agents may handle personal data. It was developed by the Gen AI Foundry as part of the Agent Trust Hub.

Users can enter an email address or username to receive a list of connected AI apps and services, along with accounts not powered by AI where they may have shared personal information. The tool provides details about data collection, possible use in model training, retention periods, and available privacy controls.

Gen Digital said nearly one in three desktop users now interact with agentic AI services. The Agent Trust Hub also includes VPN for Agents and Sage, a security layer available through Norton AI Agent Protection in Norton 360.
