Sep 29, 2026
GeoIntelX will integrate more than 100 years of Society of Economic Geologists publications and data into its GIX geospatial intelligence platform.

GeoIntelX and the Society of Economic Geologists announced in a press release a partnership to integrate more than 100 years of SEG publications into the GIX geospatial intelligence platform. The material includes research papers, maps, figures and geological datasets.

GIX will let geoscientists and executives ask AI agents questions about selected geographic regions. The platform will combine SEG material with public datasets, proprietary information and computational tools for geological analysis, technical evaluations and reporting.

A dedicated SEG service within GIX will offer AI powered search, geospatial exploration and geological queries. The first phase will use credits, with broader access options planned for the second phase. The service will launch at the SEG 2026 Conference in Salt Lake City in September 2026.
