Global semiconductor equipment billings reached $40.53 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 23% from a year earlier and 11% from the previous quarter.

SEMI announced in a press release that global semiconductor equipment billings reached $40.53 billion in the second quarter of 2026. Billings increased 23% from a year earlier and 11% from the previous quarter.

The result marked a second consecutive quarterly record. Investment in AI infrastructure and advanced semiconductor manufacturing capacity supported growth across Asia, North America, and Europe.

The figures were compiled from data submitted by SEMI and the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan.
