Globant Introduces Synthetic Operator for Automated Livestream Monitoring
Globant announced in a press release the launch of Synthetic Operator, an AI Pods powered solution that automates livestream monitoring for the media and broadcasting industry. The system uses agentic AI alongside human experts to provide continuous detection of streaming anomalies and intelligent incident management.
Synthetic Operator performs automated checks on live video and audio streams to identify issues such as black screens, logo errors, audio drops, and freezing. It also offers step by step resolution guidance and automated escalation. The tool operates continuously and can scale to monitor multiple events simultaneously.
Globant stated that the AI agent learns from operational feedback to refine its detection models, improving accuracy over time. The platform also provides analytics and trend reporting to support ongoing performance improvements. The company said the solution aims to reduce manual monitoring workloads and improve reliability for broadcasters managing around the clock streaming operations.
