Google AI Edge Foresight records and transcribes meetings offline on Apple Silicon Macs using local Gemma models.

Google released Google AI Edge Foresight, an offline AI meeting note app for Mac, according to TechCrunch. The app records and transcribes meetings across apps and in person without requiring an internet connection.

Foresight uses the EmbeddingGemma 2 model with 740 million parameters on the device and is optimized for Apple Silicon. Its split screen interface lets users write manual notes beside notes generated by AI, view transcripts, and ask an assistant powered by Gemma 4 questions about a meeting.

Users can also add PDFs, Google Docs, Microsoft Office files, plain text, Markdown files, and web bookmarks to a knowledge base. The app can answer questions using those documents and meeting notes.

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
