Grinn Partners with MediaTek for Advanced AI and IoT Solutions
Grinn has announced a strategic partnership with MediaTek, aimed at advancing AI and IoT technologies through the development of new systems-on-module (SOMs). Announced in a press release, this collaboration has led to the creation of the Grinn GenioSOM-700 and GenioSOM-510, which are based on MediaTek's Genio 700 and Genio 510 application processors.
These SOMs are designed to support demanding compute workloads, real-time AI operations, and high-quality video, display, and audio applications. The Grinn GenioSOM-700, noted for being the smallest SOM based on the Genio platform, features dual 2.2GHz Arm Cortex-A78 cores and six 2.0GHz Cortex-A55 cores, along with an Arm Mali-G57 GPU for advanced graphics processing.
The partnership provides Grinn with special access to MediaTek's products, technical support, and supply-chain resources, enabling the development of innovative embedded computing solutions. The Grinn GenioSOM-700 and GenioSOM-510 are available for order online, offering developers versatile platforms for integrating sensors and modules with Grinn's products.
