Gusto Adds Multi Client MCP and AI Workflows for Accountants

Oct 8, 2026
Gusto introduced a redesigned Gusto Pro platform and a multi client Model Context Protocol for accounting firms. The tools support payroll preparation, reporting and queries across multiple clients.

Gusto announced in a press release a redesigned Gusto Pro platform and a multi client Model Context Protocol for accounting firms. The updated platform includes AI assisted payroll workflows, automated reporting, email connectors and an assistant called Pro Gus.

The workflows can extract employee hours from emails, identify changes since the previous payroll and prepare reports. Accountants review and approve changes before Gusto updates client records.

The new protocol lets accountants connect selected Gusto clients to compatible AI tools through one connection. Users can query information across clients, prepare changes to hours, earnings, time off and payment methods, generate reports and create recurring routines.

The redesigned Gusto Pro is available in early access to eligible partners, with general availability planned later in 2026. The multi client protocol is available to all accounting firms. Gusto says more than 23,000 firms use Gusto Pro.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
