Haier Shows AI Smart Home Ecosystem at IFA 2026

Haier presented connected appliances, televisions and robots that use AI to recognize items, monitor conditions and adjust their operation. The company also plans to invest at least 13 billion euros in AI, semiconductors and IoT security over five years.

Haier showcased an AI smart home ecosystem at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the company announced in a press release. The system covers garment care, refrigeration, cooking, entertainment, digital services and robotics.

Products included the Vision 15 washing machine, which uses cameras, sensors and algorithms to adjust washing settings. Haier also presented a refrigerator prototype that recognizes ingredients and recommends storage conditions, an oven that identifies food and monitors cooking, and Smart TVs that adjust picture and sound in real time.

The hOn app connects Haier products and services in Europe. Haier said its smart home platform has more than 130 million registered users and recorded 86.1 billion smart scene interactions in 2025.

The IFA display also included humanoid robots, cleaning robots, companion robots and the Haier Exoskeleton. The company plans to invest at least 13 billion euros in AI, semiconductors and IoT security over the next five years.
