HappyRobot Secures $44 Million to Expand AI Workforce for Freight Operations
HappyRobot, a Madrid-based startup specializing in AI-driven automation for freight operations, has raised $44 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Base10 Partners, with participation from existing investors such as Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Y Combinator, as well as new investors including Tokio Marine and WaVe-X, reports Reuters.
Founded in 2023, HappyRobot aims to revolutionize the logistics industry by deploying AI agents capable of handling complex tasks such as rate negotiation and appointment booking. The company has already attracted over 70 enterprise customers, including major players like DHL and Ryder. The new funding will be used to expand HappyRobot's product, on-site, and sales teams, as well as to enhance its AI-powered platform.
HappyRobot's approach involves tightly integrating its AI technology with freight systems, which allows it to stand out from more general-purpose AI startups. The company has reported a tenfold increase in revenue growth since its previous Series A funding round, highlighting the effectiveness of its AI solutions in streamlining operations and improving efficiency for its clients.

Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
