Harvey Raises $550 Million at $15.5 Billion Valuation
Harvey raised $550 million at a $15.5 billion valuation in a round co led by Diffusion and Lightspeed Venture Partners, the company announced on its website. New investors Sapphire Ventures and Whale Rock also joined the round.
Existing investors Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, a16z, Coatue, Conviction, Elad Gil, Evantic, GIC, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Verified Capital, and WNDR participated. Harvey plans to use the funding to expand its team and support law firms, in house legal departments, and professional services firms.
The financing follows the release of Harvey's first post trained open weight model and Harvey LAB, its Legal Agent Benchmark. Harvey says its platform is used by 80% of Am Law 100 firms and legal teams at five of the Fortune 10.
The raise landed the same day Harvey acquired Guardrails AI, a company building testing, simulation and monitoring tools for AI agents, and its fourth acquisition of 2026. Taken together, the two announcements say something about where the company places its risk: it is raising at this valuation on agents doing legal work, and buying the infrastructure that checks whether those agents behave as intended.
