Hello Patient Acquires Converse Health to Add Back Office AI Agents
Hello Patient acquired Converse Health on September 15, the company said in a press release. The acquisition adds AI agents for administrative work surrounding patient visits to Hello Patient's existing communication tools.
Converse Health's software reads incoming referrals and faxes, matches documents to patient records and files them in electronic health record systems. Its agents also identify overdue follow up tasks, prepare authorization requests for staff review, retrieve imaging and process medical records requests.
Hello Patient already provides agents for calls, texts and web chats, including appointment scheduling, patient intake, billing and refill requests. Converse Health's capabilities are now available through the Hello Patient platform.
Converse Health was founded in 2023 and raised $1.3 million before the acquisition. Co founder Louis Sallerson will join Hello Patient as product leader for back office and specialty workflows.
