Hirain and Arbe Selected for Level 3 Radar Program in China

Hirain Technologies and Arbe Robotics were selected to supply imaging radar for a Level 3 automated driving program spanning multiple vehicle brands in China.

Hirain Technologies and Arbe Robotics said in a press release that a major automotive group selected their imaging radar for a Level 3 automated driving program in China. The program will cover passenger vehicles across multiple brands.

Hirain will manufacture, supply, integrate and validate the radar system, while also overseeing quality. The system uses Arbe's high resolution radar chipset and will provide data to the vehicles' centralized automated driving platform.

Series production deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027, before vehicle production starts.
