Nitro Vision AI uses cameras to monitor drive thru lanes and deliver operational information to restaurant crews through their headsets.

HME announced in a press release the launch of Nitro Vision AI, a camera based system for monitoring restaurant drive thru lanes. The system adds visual information to HME's ZOOM Nitro Timer and sends relevant updates to crew members through the NEXEO | HDX headset platform.

Nitro Vision AI works with ZOOM Nitro features including bottleneck tracking, threshold alerts, drive off alerts and POS integration. It gives crews information about lane activity and transaction details while vehicles remain in the lane.

HME says the system reads vehicle features without using license plate recognition or biometric tracking. It does not retain personally identifiable information.
