Homa raised $5 million in seed funding as the AI homebuying platform expands into mortgage lending and enters California.

Homa raised $5 million in seed funding and added mortgage lending, according to National Mortgage News. The AI homebuying platform is also expanding into California after operating in Texas and Florida.

Homa lets buyers search for homes, arrange tours, negotiate offers and close mortgages through one platform. The licensed brokerage says its AI is trained on state specific laws, property data and real estate coursework, while in house brokers write and negotiate offers.

The company can return up to 2% of the buyer broker commission to a buyer. Customers can apply the credit to closing costs, the purchase price or rate buydowns of up to 0.75%. Quiet Capital led the round, with participation from Restive Ventures and Cambrian Ventures. Homa plans to release a mobile app later in 2026.
