HoneyNaps Launches Cloud-Based AI Sleep Diagnostic Tool SOMNUM
HoneyNaps has launched a cloud version of its AI sleep diagnostic software, SOMNUM, at the SLEEP 2025 conference, announced in a press release. This HIPAA-compliant service allows users to upload polysomnography (PSG) data to the cloud, where it is analyzed by an AI engine that generates comprehensive diagnostic reports accessible online without the need for software installation.
During the conference, HoneyNaps offered a free trial of SOMNUM Cloud, allowing attendees to experience the AI analyses firsthand. The trial was well-received by U.S. sleep physicians and Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGTs), highlighting the potential for hospital-specific integration.
The company also presented its research on a deep learning model for sleep staging using ECG signals, which demonstrated improved accuracy over traditional methods. More than 100 U.S. medical institutions have shown interest in adopting the cloud-based service, and HoneyNaps is exploring strategic collaborations with global sleep companies.
