Host Digital Begins NYSE Trading With 43 MW Data Center Lease
Host Digital completed its merger with Host Digital Infrastructure on Sept. 17 and began trading on NYSE American on Sept. 18, a paid Equity Insider release states. The company also sold 2,187,500 Class A shares at $8 each, raising about $17.5 million before expenses.
Its initial data center site has a lease lasting 15 years for 55 MW of gross capacity and 43 MW of critical IT load. The take or pay agreement represents about $1.25 billion in contracted base term revenue, with delivery expected in the first quarter of 2027.
Host Digital is also negotiating the acquisition of a second site with about 16 MW of critical IT load under a lease lasting 12 years. The proposed transaction remains subject to definitive agreements. Host Digital said the combined sites could provide 59.3 MW of contracted critical IT load and $1.64 billion in base term contracted revenue.
The data center business has not yet recognized revenue and will require additional financing. Expected lease backstops for the sites have not been confirmed as executed.
