Hoverfly Technologies Secures $20 Million Series B Funding
Hoverfly Technologies has announced the successful close of its $20 million Series B funding round, announced in a press release. The investment was led by existing partner Leonardo DRS, contributing $15 million, and new investor Korea Robot Manufacturing, which added $5 million.
This funding marks the largest capital raise in Hoverfly's history and aims to bolster its position in the tethered drone sector, a key area in U.S. and allied defense initiatives. The funds will be used to scale operations and expand product offerings, as well as to establish a U.S.-based supply chain for critical UAV components.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
