HTX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Google Cloud to advance its AI capabilities, focusing on AI security, cloud services, and AI governance.

Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Google Cloud to enhance its artificial intelligence capabilities. This collaboration aims to bolster HTX's efforts in AI security, cybersecurity research, and the implementation of cloud platform services, as announced in a media release on May 27, 2025.

The partnership will see HTX adopting Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) Air-Gapped in 2025 to meet the stringent sovereignty and regulatory requirements of Home Team agencies. Additionally, both organizations will explore AI governance models and guardrails for public safety applications, focusing on explainable AI, robust AI, and AI safety.

HTX and Google Cloud will also work together on developing a GenAI Solution Accelerator for deployment in GDC Air-Gapped and deploying Google's AI models on Vertex AI for agentic AI, robotics, and embodied AI. This collaboration is expected to advance HTX's mission and operations by training and fine-tuning Google's industry-leading AI models.

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
