Huawei Cloud Stack Adds Architecture for AI Agents

Huawei Cloud introduced a hybrid cloud architecture that combines infrastructure, data, models, and tools for developing and operating AI agents.

Huawei Cloud introduced a hybrid cloud architecture for AI agents at the Huawei Cloud Stack Summit in Shanghai, it said in a press release. The architecture combines elastic cloud infrastructure, a hub connecting data and compute resources, tools for developing and operating agents, and security across the agent lifecycle.

Huawei Cloud Stack now supports A5 SuperPoDs, pooled neural processing units, and memory snapshots. Huawei said these infrastructure changes increased compute use from 30 percent to 70 percent. Its data tools include AI DataLake for multimodal data and DataArts, while its AI services include domain specific foundation models, OptVerse AI Solver, and tools for model training and inference.

Standard Bank is using Huawei Cloud Stack to build a cloud based banking core. Sky47 also used Huawei Cloud Stack and ModelArts to build a national AI cloud platform in Pakistan for applications including question answering, AI assistants, and generative AI across finance, manufacturing, energy, and technology.
