Huawei introduced the AI Practice LAB solution to bring industry data, algorithms, tools, and case studies into university teaching. The company says it developed the system with 12 partners and deployed it at several universities in China.

Huawei announced in a press release the global launch of its AI Practice LAB solution at HUAWEI CONNECT 2026 in Shanghai. The company also published the AI+ Practical Teaching White Paper at its Global Education Summit.

The solution brings industry case studies, anonymized data, algorithms, and engineering tools into university courses. It is designed to help students gain practical AI skills that match industry requirements.

Huawei says it developed the solution with 12 partners and deployed it at universities including Beijing Institute of Technology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The company plans to expand the model across academic disciplines and turn business scenarios and industry technologies into teaching and research resources.
