Hut 8 Secures $1.07 Billion Revolving Credit Facility

Hut 8 closed a $1.07 billion revolving credit facility to fund development and working capital needs, including collateral for data center sites.

Hut 8 Corp. closed a $1.07 billion, four year senior secured revolving credit facility, the company said in a press release. The facility provides committed capital for development and working capital needs without issuing equity.

Borrowings initially carry a margin of SOFR plus 175 basis points. The margin can range from SOFR plus 150 to 200 basis points based on Hut 8's ratio of consolidated debt to market capitalization.

The facility includes a $1.07 billion letter of credit sublimit for site development collateral, including grid interconnection deposits and obligations to utilities and equipment vendors. J.P. Morgan served as lead left arranger, bookrunner and administrative agent, while Citi, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley were joint lead arrangers and joint bookrunners.
