Hut 8 Partners with Anthropic and Fluidstack to Build Multi-Gigawatt AI Infrastructure in the U.S.
Hut 8 has announced a partnership with Anthropic and Fluidstack to accelerate the deployment of hyperscale AI infrastructure in the United States, according to a press release. The collaboration will initially deliver 245 megawatts (MW) of IT capacity at Hut 8’s River Bend campus in Louisiana, with potential expansion to 2,295 MW across multiple sites.
The River Bend project will be developed with 330 MW of utility capacity and is supported by a 15-year lease agreement with Fluidstack. The partnership gives Anthropic a Right of First Offer for up to 1,000 MW of additional capacity at River Bend and includes an option to co-develop up to 1,050 MW at other Hut 8 locations.
Construction of the initial phase is scheduled for completion in 2027. The project will use high-performance clusters operated by Fluidstack to support Anthropic’s AI model development. Hut 8 said the initiative aligns power sourcing, data center design, and compute deployment into an integrated platform capable of scaling to gigawatt levels.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?
Tensordyne
This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
