iDEAL Semiconductor Achieves Automotive Qualification for SuperQ MOSFET
iDEAL Semiconductor has achieved AEC-Q101 automotive qualification for its SuperQ technology and launched its first automotive-qualified product, the iS20M028S1CQ MOSFET, announced in a press release.
iDEAL’s iS20M028S1CQ is a 200 V MOSFET featuring 25 mΩ RDS(on) and a 175°C temperature rating, marking the company’s entry into high-reliability and automotive markets. The device is built on the SuperQ platform, which improves efficiency and reduces switching losses while maintaining silicon’s durability.
The new MOSFET supports applications such as electric vehicle powertrains, on-board chargers, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). It comes in a PDFN 5x6 mm package and offers up to 1.7x better performance than comparable devices, according to the company.
iDEAL Semiconductor stated that this qualification expands its technology into automotive, motor drive, battery protection, AI server, and solar applications, aligning with its focus on energy-efficient silicon power devices.
