IEEE will hold its 2026 Tech Summit on Ethical AI in Budapest, Hungary, on October 1 and 2, the organization announced in a press release. The event will bring together AI researchers, policymakers, ethicists and industry leaders.

Keynotes, panel discussions and breakout sessions will cover algorithmic bias and fairness, AI policy and regulation, privacy, data responsibility, misinformation and design centered on people. Sessions will focus on transparency, accountability and practical approaches to governing and deploying AI systems.

The event will also include the IEEE Tech Summit Ethical AI Global Founders Showcase and Awards, which will feature developers of responsible AI systems. Registration is open.
