Illumine has received SOC 2 Type II certification, validating its security and privacy controls across its AI childcare management platform designed for multi-site childcare operations.

Illumine has obtained SOC 2 Type II certification, announced in a press release. The certification confirms that the company meets the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

The company’s platform is built for multi-site childcare providers and includes features such as audit logging, role-based access controls, and encrypted data processing. Illumine’s architecture follows a privacy-first approach that limits data exposure and ensures customer data is not used to train public AI models.

Illumine’s AI workflows are designed to operate within secure environments using vetted enterprise-grade large language models. The system supports educators and administrators by automating documentation, assessments, and family communication while maintaining human oversight.

According to the company, these measures align with childcare privacy regulations and support compliance across its network of more than 3,000 centers in over 50 countries.
