Inceptio Logs 1 Billion Kilometers of Commercial Autonomous Trucking
Inceptio Technology says its autonomous driving systems have surpassed 1 billion kilometers in commercial operations, as the company announced in a press release. The systems cover about 97% of China’s highway network and support express delivery, less than truckload transport, cold chain logistics, general cargo, and liquid food transport.
Inceptio uses the driving data to develop its Freight Physical AI platform. The platform includes models for freight operations, a world model for simulation and reconstruction, a scenario library with several hundred thousand selected cases, and a cloud based system for fleet risk management, route planning, energy use, transport costs, and operational efficiency.
The company has obtained Level 4 testing permits in Zhejiang, Beijing, and Hainan. It is conducting heavy duty truck demonstrations with JD Logistics and began commercial pilot operations with SF Express for driverless light duty trucks on public roads in May 2026. Inceptio is also testing and validating its technology in Europe, Japan, and the Middle East.
