Infinite Reality Acquires Napster for $207 Million
Infinite Reality has acquired the iconic music service Napster for $207 million, announced in a press release. The acquisition aims to transform Napster from a traditional streaming service into a social and interactive music platform. Infinite Reality plans to leverage its immersive technology and AI-powered tools to enhance artist-fan engagement and monetization.
Napster, known for its pioneering role in digital music distribution, will now offer artists the ability to create branded 3D virtual spaces for virtual concerts and social listening parties.
