Infosys and Economist Impact have launched The Sustainability Atlas, an AI-powered tool designed to assist businesses and policymakers in navigating sustainability challenges. Announced in a press release, the tool leverages Infosys Topaz, a suite of generative AI technologies, to deliver insights across various sustainability topics.

The Sustainability Atlas draws on data from 18 Economist Impact indices, encompassing over 1,700 indicators and 500 reports. It provides users with succinct answers to sustainability-related questions, covering topics such as climate resilience and social inclusion. The tool's interactive globe feature allows for cross-geography comparisons, enabling users to evaluate sustainability metrics like food security and health inclusion between different regions.

Key sectors such as energy, financial services, manufacturing, and retail can benefit from industry-specific insights offered by the Atlas. Business leaders can track and compare their progress in reducing emissions, while policymakers can identify key sustainability challenges for targeted regulation. The Atlas aims to evolve into a global intelligence network, guiding collaborative action towards a sustainable future.
