Intersignal Releases Braid Pathfinder v0.5 for Local AI Coordination

July 03, 2026
Intersignal has released Braid Pathfinder v0.5, a developer preview that enables local AI systems to synchronize state and coordinate without relying on cloud infrastructure. The new version introduces signed peer discovery, cryptographic identities, latency monitoring, and a browser visualizer for developers and labs.

Intersignal announced in a press release the release of Braid Pathfinder v0.5, a developer preview of its local AI state synchronization protocol. The software allows AI systems to coordinate across local networks without depending on centralized cloud infrastructure.

Braid Pathfinder v0.5 introduces several new capabilities. These include signed peer discovery and admission, cryptographic node identities, local network discovery, and latency monitoring. It also features a browser-based visualizer that lets users observe system activity across nodes in a local environment.

Distributed as package 0.5.1 running Wire Protocol version 5, Pathfinder offers replay protection, packet validation, and pluggable identity provider design. The update supports developers, research teams, home labs, and edge AI operators seeking to coordinate multiple models or agents across private networks.

The release is intended as a developer preview for public testing and feedback.
