Jelou Raises $10M to Expand AI Transactional Platform on WhatsApp
Jelou has raised $10 million in Series A funding to grow its AI platform that enables businesses to perform financial operations inside WhatsApp, announced in a press release. The round was led by Wellington Access Ventures, with participation from Krealo and Collide Capital. This brings Jelou’s total funding to $13 million, following a previous $3 million seed round.
The company’s main product, Brain, allows businesses to build and operate AI agents that securely execute payments, verify identities, and manage financial workflows directly in chat. The platform connects to existing systems and includes over 3,000 integrations for building and managing agents.
Founded in Ecuador in 2017, Jelou has processed more than $100 million in financial operations across 13 countries. The company plans to use the new funding to expand its platform across the Americas and further develop Brain into a full operating system for conversational business on WhatsApp.
