Kanu AI announced $11.7 million in funding in a press release. Trilogy Equity Partners led the round, with participation from a16z speedrun, BMW i Ventures and Accel.

Kanu's software captures how employees complete tasks and converts those workflows into operational software in the customer's cloud. Staff demonstrate their processes and connect existing systems, while customers retain control over data access, model selection, logic and outputs.

The company says each output includes a record of the sources and reasoning used to produce it. Workflows can also include human review and approval steps. Kanu is available through AWS Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace.
